"The Robe" 1953

The first Cinemascope release and premiered in September of 1953 with a new and spectacular neon marquee that lit up Hollywood Blvd. Grauman's Chinese Theatre spent $100,00 to add the Cinemascope technology, special seating and sound equipment.
